I went to a figure salon many years ago; got down to 174 pounds, a weight I haven't seen since then. As my weight creeps up, I find myself thinking about weight loss surgery, but I'm terrified, not sure I'm willing to take the risk. I am totally blind, which has nothing to do with the surgery, but it might impact the kind of support, or should I say, the lack of support, that I'll get.
